RobloxGame Work— Malachi Mafo

Selected screenshots and development evidence from playable Roblox projects created in Roblox Studio.

My work in Roblox focuses on game systems, world-building, interface design, atmosphere and playable mechanics. Across these projects I have worked on game design, UI, Luau scripting and development inside Roblox Studio.

Aether City

A social roleplay world where reputation changes what the player can access, how visible they become and how the city responds to their status.

Game design / systems / UI / Luau scripting

I designed Aether City around a reputation-based progression system. Players earn REP through activity, move through visible social ranks and unlock additional areas and systems as their status increases.

Past Me

A memory-horror game where the player's previous run returns as the threat in the next round.

Game design / Roblox systems / Luau scripting

The game records the player's route during one round, saves the movement path and uses it to generate an Echo in the following round. The player then has to face a threat created from their own previous decisions.

01Record route
02Collect 4 shards
03Reach exit
04Save movement
05Echo returns
06Damage
07Recap
  • The player collects four Memory Shards.
  • The player reaches the real exit.
  • The movement route is stored.
  • An Echo spawns during the next round.
  • The Echo replays the saved movement.
  • The Echo can damage the player.
  • The round ends with a visible recap.

Development Evidence

These screenshots show the projects inside Roblox Studio, including environment construction, interface implementation and scripting work.

Verified Studio capture slots are ready. Unverified or private development images are not published.

What I Learned

01

World-building

I learned how environment, layout and progression can work together to make a game world feel intentional.

02

Systems

I learned how mechanics become more memorable when the player can clearly see cause, consequence and feedback.

03

Iteration

Both projects improved through repeated testing, debugging and refining the relationship between visuals and gameplay.

All gameplay and development screenshots shown on this page are from Roblox projects I worked on in Roblox Studio.
